If you are a Windows user who always wanted to get rid of the Taskbar for a more sleek approach - look no further. RK Launcher for Windows is a tiny application that mimics the functionality of the Dock in OS X. It even captures many of the special effects such as the magnification of the dock icons when the mouse hovers over them, drag-and-drop adding and removing (complete with the “POOF” effect), the genie effect for minimizing windows, etc. The developer hasn’t worked on it for a bit (since 2005), but the beta works great for now!

Cool, Always wanted to get rid of that nasty start button.
Windows XP sucks (so does Vista when you compare it with a Mac)the only reason fro using a PC is that most programs run on it (can’t wait for a good WINE program on the mac)Anyway very gd. GO APPL!!

i thinks its really really cool but it gets in the way of my tabs on the bottem, if it where on te hside of the screen it woudl be teh bets for me

You can hide your Taskbar or move RKLauncher to run on the side or top of your screen. Just Right Click on the RKLauncher “Dock” and adjust the settings from there.

i think it looks great but i cant seem to get it to work right,all i can get on the screen is the taskbar thing just wondering if anyone could tell me how to get this thing up and running.

I cant get it to work ive just downloaded it n ive got a load of files inside this zip file sum1 help meeee !
