I was on my way to work when I decided to kill some time at my local Target. Usually there is always a good deal going on like the time I bought a 256 wristband usb bracelet(looks like those cancer bracelets but has a usb inside) for $20. Well, this time was no different; while sorting through the mess that is external Hard Drives I found the WD 320 GB HD for only 150.00.Well, this obviously was a sign to pick one up so I did, actually, I picked up two. We all know that a the Bawls bottle is a work of art in itself (I even have one on my tower at work), now Alan Parekh over at Hacked Gadgets makes the bottle even more pretty by turning it into an Automatic Light. He accomplished the hack for around 3 bucks using parts you can find at any hobby electronics shop or Digikey! Complete photos, schematic, and even a video can be found on his site. Thanks Alan!

Inkscape is an Open Source vector graphics editor, with capabilities similar to Illustrator, Freehand, CorelDraw, or Xara X using the W3C standard Scalable Vector Graphics (SVG) file format.  Although it’s not as powerful as the forementioned products Inkscape is vastly capable of producing high-quality vector based drawings with a slick, easy-to-use interface.  Casual users (on most platforms) should respect the fact that Inkscape is Open Source, which makes it Free, Community Supported, and Open to Change Based on User Feedback.
